Ok so you’ve made some items you think have good selling potential, Great, But now what? It’s time to set up shop Smile you can do this a few ways .

1) Become a premium member and buy a plot of land you can buy 512sqm with your premium membershipo if you buy first land you pay only $412L. (you can buy bigger plots but you will have to pay extra US Dollars, I’ll put the prices a little later)

2) Rent a plot of land or a store from another secondlife resident (open search and type in rent, rental or something similar, Also be sure to check out classifieds)

3) Some places allow you to put out items for free fo so many days ( if your short on linden this would be a good way to start, Just open up search and type in free land or other similar keywords) Ok so now you’ve picked your location and built (if you have to) your store, Now how do you set up your items for sale? again there are various ways to do this. Before you get started take snapshots of the items your going to sell, People prefer to see what they are purchasing (remember it cost $10L to upload a snapshot)

1) If you want to save on prims, or you have items with unlinked parts the best way to sell them is in a box, To do this click the build button, choose the box and click on the ground. Now right click the box and choose edit, You can stretch and resize to your prefered size, Then click contents, drag your item from your inventory into the contents tab, Now click texture and apply your snapshot. Click on the general tab enter in the items name, description, tick the for sale box and enter a price. (you can drop in a hover text script if you have one so the description appears above the box)

2) Selling items in vendors is great for clothing,tattoo’s, and different colours of the same item, You can get free vendor kits for a few free vendor options click here You can also purchase vendor kits, Follow all instructions provided to set the vendors up.

3) Items out on display and for sale, this uses alot more prims but is a good way for people to try before they buy, Just drag your item from your inventory, right click and choose edit, enter an item name, description and price. Anything I missed? feel free to let me know Smile
